You want to play a part in making NSW a better place to work, live and travel.
You'll tackle challenges head-on, utilising your technical expertise to build sustainable, innovative, and resilient solutions from start to finish.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of the Regional Ferries Project Management team delivering ferry operations, maintenance and capital projects across NSW, you'll support the delivery of critical water transport infrastructure.
This role will see you oversee routine maintenance and major overhauls of ferry and supporting assets, contribute to the design and construction of new ferry vessels, manage compliance with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) standards, and coordinate responses to operational challenges including flood events. You'll develop your project management capabilities whilst gaining specialised experience in marine mechanical systems.
You will lead and coordinate maintenance schedules, asset inspections and capital works across multiple ferry services spanning Sydney, North and Sough regions in a dynamic operational environment where ferries run 24/7 and continuous service is essential.

Essential qualifications and experience include a 4-year tertiary qualification in mechanical or marine engineering.
Whilst desirable but not essential to the role includes exposure to design and maintenance of hydraulics systems or marine environments.
