Jizakana is a modern Japanese restaurant located in Cammeray, Sydney, serving fresh sushi, sashimi, and authentic Japanese cuisine in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
We are currently looking for Sushi Makers and Sushi Chefs to join our growing kitchen team.
Position 1 – Sushi MakerWhat We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Sushi Maker or in a similar kitchen role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Deep fryer experience is highly regarded
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills

Position 2 – Sushi ChefWhat We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Sushi Chef
- Confident handling and preparing a variety of fresh fish
- Skilled in slicing fish for sashimi and nigiri
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a busy team environment
