Key responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses in aged care facilities. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist registered nurses with various medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and administering medications, following established protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV Individual Support
- Previous experience working as an Assistant in Nursing or in a similar role in a healthcare setting
- NDIS worker screening check
- Current flu and Covid-19 vaccination
- Current First Aid and CPR certification looked on favourably
- Valid driver's license or reliable transport
- National Police Check

Experience:
- Assistant in nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
