Pay: $42.38 - $43.76 per hour (based on qualification and experience) + Super + Benefits

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Pialba, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
Thie role is ideal for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their leadership journey! We’re seeking an Assistant Director who’s eager to learn, lead and progress toward a future Director role.
We are a small, 74-place centre with long-term staff, most of whom have been with us for 5 to 15 years. We are proud to say that our staff speak a variety of languages, including Māori and Italian, which is included into our diverse programming for the children in our care. We also enjoy incorporating our families’ cultures into the curriculum, helping to strengthen the connection between home and the centre. Conveniently located on the main street in Hervey, we have a wonderful bush tucker garden that children and families enjoy tending to regularly.
