About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Hinchcliff House. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of venue operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.
We are offering a salary between $75,000 - $80,000 + super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive team on-boarding and induction plans to ensure new hires are integrated seamlessly into the team.
- Coordinate and conduct regular venue product and service training sessions to uphold our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
- Create and manage team incentives to drive motivation, productivity, and performance excellence.
- Monitor and report Sales Per Hour (SPH) metrics and customer reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and recognizing outstanding performance.
- Strategically manage labour percentage to optimise operational efficiency while controlling costs.
- Maintain the venue's impeccable presentation standards, including cleanliness, organisation, and visual appeal.
- Foster team development through coaching, mentoring, and providing growth opportunities.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service and quality products, aligning with brand standards.
- Review and approve daily timesheets accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with labour regulations and company policies.
- Uphold compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements.
- Generate and analyse daily reports on key performance indicators, revenue, expenses, and other relevant metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume venue.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Google suite, and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the hospitality industry, including RSA.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
