You will join our fast-growing Group AI team, a core strategic function with a clear mandate to build AI-powered solutions and products that shape the future of financial services. In this role, you will lead the development of Agentic AI solutions at Novigi, translating ideas into production grade capability.
Role Description:
The Senior AI Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for building, deploying, and operating AI solutions for Novigi while ensuring solutions meet the security, performance, and compliance requirements of regulated financial services environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver end-to-end AI solutions that solve complex business problems and unlock new opportunities.
- Rapidly prototype AI agents that help users get through complex workflows using AI-generated code, test, and scale production-grade AI systems using modern tools and frameworks.
- Build our internal agent framework including MCP servers, tool connectors, evaluation patterns.
- As a leader, help engineers get better at AI-assisted development.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, business analysts and testers to ensure seamless delivery
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve deployed AI applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Apply Responsible AI practices, including explainability, traceability, and bias considerations.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, privacy, and data governance requirements relevant to FSI.
- Stay current with emerging AI patterns, including agentic AI frameworks, orchestration tools, and LLM platforms.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-6+ years of experience in software engineering with full stack experience preferred
- Demonstrable experience in developing AI agents and automation workflows, multi-agent orchestration, MCP servers, and evaluation.
- Experience with agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar).
- Experience in shortening development timelines through the use of AI-generated code.
- You can prototype a React UI when needed.
- Proven experience designing and deploying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Exposure to knowledge graphs is a strong advantage.
- Experience deploying AI solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and support for production AI systems.
- Microsoft certifications highly regarded, particularly Azure AI Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in or delivering solutions for financial services or other regulated industries is highly advantageous.
