Disability Support Worker — Casual
Endeavour Care Group | Perth (western and southern suburbs) | Casual
About us
Endeavour Care Group is a Perth-based NDIS provider delivering person-centred supports that help our participants build independence and live life on their terms. We're a close-knit team that backs its workers with proper briefings, clear documentation systems and genuine support from management.
About the role
We're looking for reliable, mature and proactive support workers to join our team, supporting NDIS participants across Perth's western and southern suburbs. Shifts of up to 4 to 5 days a week are available for the right candidates, with a mix of weekday and weekend work.
Day to day, you'll be supporting participants with:
- Community participation and social engagement
- Daily living skills and independence building in the home
- Travel assistance and transport to appointments and activities
This role suits someone who enjoys building genuine connections, encourages independence rather than doing things for people, and brings a calm, respectful and person-centred approach to every shift. Strong written shift notes and clear communication with our team are part of the job, and we'll show you exactly what good looks like.
What you'll need
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain before commencing)
- Current First Aid certificate (CPR current)
- Current driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
- Good English communication skills, written and verbal
- Availability on weekdays (weekend availability well regarded)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed (we can point you to it)
- Rights to work in Australia
Experience with psychosocial disability, autism or capacity-building supports is highly regarded but not essential. What matters most is reliability, kindness and common sense.
What we offer
- Casual rates under the SCHADS Award plus penalties for weekends
- Kilometre reimbursement for participant transport
- Consistent, regular shifts with the same participants, not a different stranger every day
- Thorough participant briefings before your first shift, and a management team that answers the phone
- A growing provider where good workers get more hours, more responsibility and a real say
