Ox Engineering is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Operator to join our manufacturing team in Canning Vale. This permanent, full-time position requires a skilled individual who can operate and maintain sheet metal machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards. The operator will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our clients.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Measure, mark out and inspect sheet metal components
- Select and set appropriate tooling
- Ensure accurate bends, angles and dimensions
- Carry out quality checks throughout production
- Maintain machinery and a clean, safe work area
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and press brake operation
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good measurement skills
- CNC press brake experience highly regarded
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a sheet metal operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Relevant vocational qualification or certification in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Forklift Licence
