Role Description:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Practitioner Project Manufacturing Manager to join our Advanced Manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving manufacturing project performance across cost, schedule and delivery outcomes. Working closely with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain teams, you will monitor and track program performance through Earned Value Management (EVM), while leading the introduction of new products and upgrades into production to support successful customer delivery.

Core Duties:
- Monitor and manage project schedules, cost performance, and risk within manufacturing operations using EVM principles.
- Drive production performance to meet delivery milestones and budget targets.
- Lead the introduction of new parts and product upgrades into manufacturing, ensuring readiness across materials, tooling, and resources.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program teams to resolve issues and deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide clear, timely communication to internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise production efficiency and quality.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering or trade-based environment, including leading and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple business functions
- Demonstrated ability to drive delivery, manage competing priorities and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management, project controls, EVM, LCM and/or MS Project will be highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational performance and business improvement
- Defence industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
