About the role
Marina Radiology is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Radiology Bookings Clerk to join our dynamic Customer Contact Centre team in Berwick, Victoria. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the smooth running of our medical imaging services. All patient communication will be done via telephone or the internet.
What you'll be doing
- Efficiently managing patient bookings and enquiries for a range of radiology services (e.g. CT, MRI, X-ray and Ultrasound)
- Providing exceptional customer service to both patients and healthcare providers
- Maintaining accurate patient records and scheduling information
- Coordinating with our radiology teams to ensure timely and seamless appointment scheduling
- Assisting with other administrative tasks as required to support the overall operations of the Customer Contact Centre
The role will require you to work a rotating 38 hour roster between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday (overtime rates apply).
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and schedules
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including scheduling and booking systems
- A caring and empathetic approach to working with patients
- A team player attitude and willingness to contribute to the smooth running of the Customer Contact Centre
