At Compass Group Australia, we're seeking an experienced bid or proposals professional to lead a small team of Proposal Managers and Coordinators while driving strategic tender opportunities across our Urban sectors.
Reporting to the National Bid Manager, you'll combine your bid expertise with people leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement. You'll help develop talent, shape winning strategies and influence major commercial opportunities that directly contribute to business growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach and develop a team of bid and proposal professionals
- Manage major tenders from strategy through to submission
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop winning solutions
- Guide proposal quality, governance and delivery
- Allocate resources and support team development
- Drive continuous improvement across bid processes and outcomes
About You
You may be an experienced Proposal Manager/Writer, Senior Proposal Writer, Bid Manager or Tender Manager looking to take the next step into people leadership.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience managing complex bids and proposals
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- A track record of mentoring, coaching or supporting junior team members
- Excellent writing, communication and storytelling capability
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- The ambition to grow your leadership career
