Your opportunity
As a valued Carer at Anglicare Sydney, Marcus Loane House, Warriewood you will provide high-quality, person-centered care that supports our residents to live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, attending to residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met and help enhance their independence and quality of life.
With kindness and understanding, you will:
Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding
Support residents with mobility and physical assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support
Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.
What you’ll bring
You are a kind-hearted, patient and respectful person who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people. You share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, and bring them to everything you do.
What’s required:
A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification
Minimum 6 months experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
NDIS workers screening check clearance ID.
Experience with care management systems and digital documentation.
What’s preferred:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion working with older people and enhancing their quality of life
Teamwork and collaboration with nurses, allied health professionals, and other Carers.
