We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to lead our Inbound operations at Princess Polly’s Distribution Centre. You’ll be responsible for overseeing receiving, stock processing, team performance and operational efficiency while leading and developing a high-performing team. You’ll join a collaborative leadership group of Team Leaders and managers who work closely together to support one another, share ideas and drive continuous improvement across the operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a natural people leader who enjoys motivating people, improving processes, and contributing to a high-performing Distribution Centre environment.
- Lead the daily Inbound operation, including receiving, unloading, stock processing and workflow coordination
- Coordinate purchase order schedules to support smooth supplier-to-DC stock flow
- Monitor Inbound processing to ensure stock is received accurately and made available within SLA timeframes
- Support Inbound volume planning and Team resourcing in line with daily operational priorities
- Track and report on Team KPIs, processing performance, stock trends and operational insights
- Coach, develop and motivate Team members through onboarding, feedback, 1:1s and daily support
- Run daily Team briefings to maintain clear communication, alignment and engagement
- Identify and drive process improvements that improve accuracy, efficiency and turnaround times
- Partner with Inventory, Logistics, Outbound and HQ Teams to resolve issues and support end-to-end stock flow
- Champion WHS standards to maintain a safe, clean and compliant warehouse environment
- Experience leading Teams in a warehouse, distribution or fulfilment environment
- Knowledge of Inbound operations, inventory management and stock flow processes
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others
- Confidence working with WMS systems, operational reporting and performance metrics
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A commitment to workplace safety, accuracy and continuous improvement
