We are an established Tax Accounting Practice in Perth seeking a proactive, efficient Tax Accountant to join our team for an immediate start. Working directly alongside our team, you will manage a diverse client portfolio in a high-energy, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge Individual, Company, Trust, and SMSF Tax Returns.
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Audits.
- Deliver accurate tax compliance, client advice, and general accounting services.
- Execute dynamic tasks and adapt smoothly to shifting priorities in a high-tempo workplace.
- Complete workloads correctly and efficiently within assigned time schedules.
- Maintain sharp turnaround times and high accuracy during peak submission cycles.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: More than 2 years of local tax accounting experience within an Australian public practice firm.
- Education: Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting at an Australian University.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on capability across Individual, Company, Trust, SMSF, and BAS lodgements.
- Pace & Agility: Comfortable operating at a medium-to-fast pace with strong adaptability to changing priorities.
- Mindset: Highly resilient, solution-oriented, and self-driven with a focus on getting the job done efficiently.
- Language Fluency: Must have a high degree of proficiency in professional Business English communication.
- Software: Hands-on experience with standard tax and cloud platforms (Xero, MYOB, & Reckon etc).
