We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Tour Guide to join our team!
Requirements
- Bronze Medallion certification
- Deckhand and/or snorkel guide experience preferred
- Friendly, confident, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced tourism environment
What You'll Be Doing
As a Tour Guide, no two days are the same! Your role will include:
- Sea Lion Tours by delivering engaging safety briefings, assisting guests with boarding and equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience on the water, and sharing interesting commentary about the local wildlife and environment.
- Lobster Catching Tours by demonstrating lobster fishing techniques, encouraging guest participation, maintaining safety standards, and providing insight into our local fishing industry.
- Fishing Charters by assisting customers with baiting hooks, handling fishing gear, helping guests with their catches, and providing hands-on assistance throughout the trip. You’ll also help maintain a clean, safe, and organised deck and assist the crew with general charter duties.
- Factory Tours, giving visitors an informative and engaging behind-the-scenes look at our operations while answering questions and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Assisting in our retail shop between tours by providing excellent customer service, helping with purchases and product enquiries, restocking displays, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
