About the Role
This is predominantly at front desk reception but will also be involved with sterilisation and some dental assisting and changeovers of surgery.
You will work closely with our principal dentist and team to ensure patients receive an outstanding experience from their first phone call through to completion of treatment.
Reception Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming patients
- Managing appointments and recalls
- Answering incoming phone enquiries
- Rebooking treatment and following up patients
- Processing payments and accounts
- Assisting patients with post-operative information
- Ordering stock and supplies
- Managing end-of-day reporting and administration
- Assisting with surgery changeovers.
Dental Assisting Responsibilities when needed
- Be able to chairside assist across a range of procedures
- Maintaining exceptional infection control standards
- Sterilisation and instrument processing
- Supporting patient comfort and care
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
General Practice Responsibilities
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional practice environment
- Supporting the team wherever required
- Contributing positively to practice culture and patient experience
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (preferred)
- Comfortable using D4W software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and punctuality
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with patients and team members
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Hours
- Monday to Thursday with the occasional Friday mornings when needed.
- Mondays from 8.15am-6.15pm
- Tuesdays from 8.15am to 6.45pm
- Wednesdays from 9.15am to 5.15pm
- Thursdays from 8.15am to 5.15pm
