NDIS Disability Support Worker
Ability Bridges Disability Support Services is a registered NDIS provider established in 2018, supporting participants across Sydney. We are seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers to join our growing team and provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and community participation.
About the Role
You will support participants with their individual goals and daily living needs in their homes and within the community. Duties may include:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living
- Community access, social activities and transport
- Domestic assistance, meal preparation and household tasks
- Supporting participants to attend appointments and engage in activities
- Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate progress notes
- Promoting participant choice, independence and wellbeing
Requirements
- Previous disability support or relevant care experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful approach
- Ability to work independently and follow participant support plans
A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related qualification is highly regarded. Experience with complex care, behaviours of concern or high-intensity supports is also advantageous.
