Strathalbyn Family Medical Centre is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join its experienced and collaborative team on a full-time or part-time basis.
Established in 2005, the practice has cared for the Strathalbyn community for almost 20 years and built a strong local reputation for high-quality, patient-centred care. The clinic now operates from a new purpose-built facility on Braemar Drive, providing a welcoming and well-equipped environment for both patients and doctors.
With an established and loyal patient base, you’ll have the opportunity to build a rewarding and sustainable practice while working alongside like-minded colleagues and an experienced nursing and administration team.
The practice supports a broad range of General Practice services and encourages GPs to develop their clinical interests. Current areas of care include family medicine, women’s health, children’s health, men’s health, mental health, chronic disease management, preventive healthcare, skin health, aged care, travel medicine, minor procedures and shared care obstetrics.
Strathalbyn Family Medical Centre is also an accredited training practice for GP Registrars and medical students, providing a strong environment for professional development, clinical collaboration and ongoing learning.
The practice is supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams, with Best Practice software, onsite allied health and access to pathology and other healthcare services. The clinic also provides aged care and home visit services where appropriate.
The practice operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, providing a consistent working environment and flexibility for GPs to develop a schedule that suits their lifestyle and professional goals.
