Your Role on Eyre Ward A
Working 0.84 FTE on a fixed-term contract through to 17 July 2027, you'll deliver hands-on clinical care across Eyre Ward A while playing an active role in shaping the team around you. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care across diverse inpatient and emergency settings at Port Lincoln Hospital
- Taking accountability for your own practice while offering clear guidance to junior and enrolled nursing staff
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Managing clinical portfolios that align with your own professional development goals
What You'll Bring
- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- A minimum of three years' contemporary nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment
- Demonstrated ability to mentor students, enrolled nurses, and junior RNs in a clinical setting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills suited to a regional hospital context
- A proactive and flexible approach to practice, with a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development
