Casual Spa Therapist Position
At Natural Wellness Centre, we offer guests a peaceful sanctuary to slow down, reconnect, and feel deeply supported in their wellbeing. Our holistic approach blends natural therapies with luxury organic spa treatments, creating experiences that nurture the nervous system, honour the skin, and restore balance from within.
As we move into the spring/summer season, we’re looking for a Spa Therapist who shares our passion for mindful, heart‑led care and is excited to join our small, supportive team.
Position Details
Casual role: 8–12 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours over the Christmas period.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Treatment delivery — Perform all treatments to Natural Wellness Centre protocols and standards
- Client care — Provide exceptional, nurturing service
- Client retention — Build a loyal client base through thoughtful rebooking and personalised home‑care recommendations
- Product knowledge — Learn and confidently recommend iKOU products with passion
- Spa expertise — Be experienced in facials, massage therapy, spa rituals, body scrubs and cocoons
- Attention to detail — Deliver treatments with exceptional attention to detail
- Going above and beyond — Elevate the guest experience through thoughtful touches and intuitive care
- Reception & admin duties — Confidently manage bookings, learn and navigate our booking system, handle client check‑ins, process payments, manage the daily schedule, and complete in‑hours administrative tasks with accuracy
- Working independently — Confidently open and close the Centre, manage the flow of the day solo, and maintain a calm, organised environment
- Availability — Be available for day, evening and Saturday shifts
Please note: This position does not include waxing, tinting, tanning or mani/pedi services.
Ideal Applicant Will Possess
- Quick learning — Able to learn new systems, protocols and products efficiently
- Adaptability — Comfortable adjusting to changing schedules, guest needs and daily flow
- Desire to grow — Willing to increase hours, cover shifts when needed, and grow within the role over time
- Thinking on your feet — Able to respond calmly and professionally in real‑time situations
- Strong communication — Warm, clear and confident with guests and team members
- Professional presentation — High grooming standards and alignment with our natural wellness ethos
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy
- Must have previous job history working in a Day Spa environment
- Enthusiastic, self‑driven, and passionate about natural skincare and natural health
- Confident in rebooking and recommending services/products
- Strong knowledge of natural product benefits and a love for educating guests
- Experience in reception or front‑of‑house roles is highly regarded
- Training in Pregnancy Massage is an advantage

Job Type
Casual position, with the possibility of increased hours over peak periods and the potential to grow in this role for the right candidate who aligns with our values, standards and team culture.
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
