Pickering Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Car Assembler / Automotive Technician to join our growing automotive team.
The successful applicant will have practical experience working with late-model vehicles and be confident carrying out vehicle assembly and disassembly work to a high standard.
This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced automotive professional who takes pride in accurate workmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble late-model vehicles
- Remove and refit vehicle components correctly
- Prepare vehicles for further mechanical, electrical or pre-delivery work
- Follow established workshop procedures and manufacturer requirements
- Inspect completed work to ensure components are correctly fitted
- Identify and report any issues discovered during assembly
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Work cooperatively with technicians and other automotive staff
About You
- Previous professional automotive experience is essential
- Demonstrated experience with vehicle assembly and disassembly
- Good understanding of late-model vehicle construction and components
- Strong practical and mechanical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Current Australian driver's licence preferred
