We're after a Front of House Team Member to be the warm first impression of the pub. You'll be the one greeting guests, keeping the floor running smoothly through lunch and dinner, and making sure everyone feels looked after — whether it's a couple popping in for a meal or a function of 40 celebrating something special.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming guests like they're old friends the moment they walk through the door
- Managing the floor during service — seating guests, keeping an eye on tables, lending a hand where it's needed
- Taking reservations and answering enquiries about functions and events
- Supporting the kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing
- Helping out during our weekly events (Quiz Nights, Poker, Happy Hour) and private functions
- Keeping the front of house tidy, organised, and inviting
About YouYou don't need to have done this for years — the right attitude matters more to us than a long CV. We'd love someone who:
- Genuinely enjoys people and naturally makes them feel at home
- Has a warm, relaxed manner — friendly without being over the top
- Is happy to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and evenings (that's when we're at our liveliest)
- Is a team player who mucks in and helps out wherever needed
- Is just as comfortable working on their own as they are in a team
- Stays cool and smiling when it gets busy
Essential:
- Valid RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- Weekend and evening availability
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Experience in front of house, serving, or bar work
- Function or events experience
- Gaming room experience (favourable)
