About the role
This role would be ideal for an experienced cabinet maker looking at getting off the tools. You will be responsible for operating our CNC machinery while helping coordinate workflow and keeping the workshop organised and running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery and edge bander
- Read and interpret drawings and CNC programs
- Check components for accuracy and quality
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Receive, check and organise deliveries
- Assist with stock and material organisation
- Organise the daily work roster for workshop staff
- Keep the CNC and workshop areas clean, organised and safe
About you
- Trade qualification
- Experienced, organised and reliable, with a strong understanding of cabinet making or joinery
- CNC operating experience, preferably within cabinet making or joinery
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritise work
- Reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude
- White card
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
