The Opportunity
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team, within UniSC’s Academic Support Unit, plays a vital role in connecting students with meaningful industry placement experiences that enhance their employability and professional development. Providing specialist support across undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree by research programs, the team ensures placement activities meet university requirements, regulatory obligations and industry expectations.
You will play a key role in connecting students with high-quality placement experiences that enhance their learning and prepare them for professional success. Providing specialist operational and administrative support across a diverse portfolio of placements, you will independently coordinate placement activities, offer expert advice on placement requirements, maintain critical systems and records, and build strong relationships with host organisations, academics and internal stakeholders. Your work will directly contribute to expanding and enhancing work-integrated learning opportunities and ensuring students and partners are supported throughout every stage of the placement journey, in alignment with UniSC’s strategic priorities.
You will
- Provide high-quality, timely and accurate administrative and operational services supporting the University's Work Integrated Learning (WIL) courses and student placements;
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, academic and professional staff, and external host organisations to facilitate suitable, safe and successful WIL experiences; and
- Apply WIL knowledge, University policies and procedures to resolve operational issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of WIL systems, processes and services.

You are a highly organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You bring strong administrative capability, excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to navigate complex processes while maintaining a focus on service excellence. You are proactive, solutions-focused and committed to creating positive outcomes for students and industry partners alike.
You will possess:
- Completion of an advanced diploma, combined with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent experience and/or education/training;
