About us:
Keebra Park was established in 1973 in the south-west corner of Southport. The location is spectacular with the school built on the crest of a hill and with expansive playing fields stepped on three lower levels.
There is also six hectares of native forest abundant in wildlife.
Keebra is an Aboriginal word for young people. This highly valued group, through teaching and play learnt social and survival skills to contribute to the community.

Your opportunity:
This is an important leadership role within our school, providing strategic direction and coordination of inclusive education, disability support, case management and targeted intervention.
As a key member of the school leadership team, the successful applicant will take ownership of the portfolio, providing proactive leadership, strong organisation and a clear line of sight from identified student need to effective classroom adjustments, intervention, support and improved outcomes.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the capacity to:
Provide strategic and operational leadership of inclusive education, disability support and targeted intervention
Lead, coordinate and build the capability of case managers, ensuring consistent, proactive and student-centred case management
Lead, coordinate and build the capability of teacher aides
Strengthen staff capability to identify student need, implement effective adjustments and provide inclusive learning experiences
Lead collaborative problem-solving and coordinated support for students with complex needs, working effectively with teachers, support staff, students, families and external agencies
Ensure effective systems for reasonable adjustments, NCCD, case management, documentation, monitoring and review
Oversee and lead NAPLAN AARA, Senior AARA, QCIA and ICP support mechanisms for start of 2027
Lead year 6 into 7 transition and day 8 reporting for purposes of NCCD
Work collaboratively to effectively allocate and use RAR funding to support all students with a disability across tiered levels of support including TA and SWD staff allocation
Contribute as an active member of the school leadership team to whole-school improvement priorities, with a strong focus on equity, inclusion, belonging, engagement and achievement for every student
