We are looking for an energetic and people-focused Assistant Store Manager to help lead our U Health team, support day-to-day operations and create experiences that keep members coming back for more.

Your Gig
As Assistant Store Manager, you will be the right hand to the Store Manager and a key leader within the cafe. You’ll coach and support the team, drive operational excellence and help create an environment where both team members and members love to spend time.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing cafe team that delivers genuine, memorable service.
- Create a positive and engaging culture where team members feel supported and inspired to grow.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the cafe runs smoothly, safely and efficiently.
- Bring structure, pace and attention to detail to a complex day-to-day cafe operation where the expectations are high and the experience needs to feel effortless.
- Manage rostering, labour requirements and daily workflow planning.
- Maintain stock levels, ordering processes and inventory controls.
- Monitor food quality, presentation and service standards to deliver an exceptional experience, every time.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members.
- Drive sales initiatives and spot opportunities to improve commercial performance.
- Manage labour, wastage and stock costs while protecting a premium member experience.
- Partner with the wider club leadership team to create one seamless end-to-end member experience.
- Step into leadership of the cafe when the Store Manager is away.
