The Manufacturing Systems & Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, operation, support and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Systems/MES and assigned enterprise application platforms across InfraBuild.
As a key member of the IT Leadership Team, this role ensures manufacturing and enterprise application capabilities are aligned to business needs, secure, reliable, integrated and cost-effective. The role drives standardisation, application lifecycle management, portfolio rationalisation, operational excellence, digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives across manufacturing and related business processes
What you will be doing:
- Develop and lead the Manufacturing Systems (MES) and Enterprise Applications strategy, roadmap, and standards aligned with business and IT objectives.
- Act as the key link between manufacturing operations, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver effective technology solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Manufacturing Systems and Enterprise Applications, including support, upgrades, integrations, licensing, and vendor management.
- Drive application standardisation, simplification, and rationalisation to reduce complexity, costs, and operational risks.
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and integrated with ERP, SCADA, PLC, OT, reporting, and data platforms.
- Establish and oversee governance processes for incidents, changes, releases, access controls, configuration, and service continuity.
- Lead the delivery of application and MES projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, business benefits, and project outcomes are achieved.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to support operational, quality, engineering, finance, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while promoting continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, licensing, regulatory, and data governance requirements while actively managing business and technology risks.
