We’re a well-loved neighbourhood restaurant in South Cronulla with a small kitchen team, seasonal menus and loyal local customers.
We’re looking for a Cook / CDP (to work closely alongside our Chef) - someone with good kitchen foundations who wants to develop their skills, contribute ideas, and become an important part of what we’re building.
This isn't a kitchen where you'll be stuck on one section.
Because we're a small team, you'll have the opportunity to work across the kitchen, learn directly from our Chef and get involved beyond the day-to-day service.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Work across pasta, grill, fryer, salads, desserts and prep
- Learn and develop your skills alongside an experienced Chef
- Contribute ideas for dishes, specials and future menus
- Work with seasonal ingredients and fresh produce
- See your ideas tested — and potentially make their way onto the menu
- Build confidence across all areas of a commercial kitchen
- Take on more responsibility as your skills develop
Who we're looking for
You don't need to be a senior chef.
We're looking for someone who already has some commercial kitchen experience and the fundamentals to work safely and confidently — but just as importantly, someone who is:
- Curious and keen to learn
- Passionate about good food
- Reliable and organised
- Calm during service
- Happy working as part of a close-knit team
- Proud of what they put on the plate
- Comfortable speaking up and contributing ideas
The hours
Wednesday–Saturday: Dinner
Friday & Sunday: Lunch
