We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth in the Home Oxygen and Aged Care markets. Covering a dual-state territory across South Australia and Western Australia, you will combine process-driven consultative selling with strategic relationship management to expand our commercial footprint and improve care outcomes.
This role is based in Adelaide, SA.
In this autonomous, high-visibility commercial role, you will bridge medical solution-selling with state-level stakeholder engagement. Your mission is built on four core strategic pillars:
Territory Growth & Process Selling: Drive business development and account growth across SA and WA. Utilize Air Liquide’s structured process-selling methodology to identify client needs, present tailored medical gas and equipment solutions, and execute contracts using corporate intranet (AODocs) tools and CRM platforms.
State Stakeholder & Tender Architecture: Build and nurture trust-based relationships with State Departments, health agencies, industry associations, and key decision-makers involved in public and private tendering. Actively participate in tender submissions, contract renewals, and trade events.
Technical Education & Safety Stewardship: Organise and deliver interactive training for healthcare staff and clients on the safe operation of medical gas systems, integrated cylinders, and specialized medical equipment. Promote an uncompromised safety culture across all customer sites and operations.
Cross-Functional Synergy & Market Intelligence: Collaborate closely with internal operations, asset planning, and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding, accurate ERP billing, and issue resolution. Gather competitive intelligence and contribute directly to regional sales and marketing strategies.
We are looking for an articulate, self-motivated sales professional with a passion for solution-selling and a desire to make a lasting impact in healthcare. You will bring:
Sales Experience & Growth Mindset: 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of deploying game-changing strategies to consistently overachieve targets.
Healthcare & Aged Care Interest: Eagerness to jump into the healthcare sector (prior experience working with nursing homes, aged care facilities, or healthcare providers is a strong bonus).
Procurement & Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated experience engaging and selling to procurement teams across various commercial or industrial sectors.
Technical & Digital Agility: Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate technical/medical technologies, paired with digital savviness in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and modern CRM tools.
Self-Starter Autonomy: A proactive self-starter mindset with the ability to independently prioritize sales calls, manage competing demands, and drive complex deals through to completion.
Travel Readiness: Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel interstate from time to time.
