About the Role:
As the Occupational Therapy Team Lead, you’ll balance clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities, supporting both clients and your team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring the Occupational Therapy team
Providing clinical supervision and professional support
Delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy services
Completing comprehensive NDIS functional assessments and reports
Prescribing Assistive Technology and home modifications
Managing a diverse caseload of NDIS, private and insurance clients
Building strong relationships with clients, families and key stakeholders
Participating in outreach visits to remote Aboriginal communities
Contributing to service development and continuous quality improvement
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about leadership, enjoys mentoring others and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
To be successful, you will have:
A minimum of three years’ clinical experience in practice
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Experience working with NDIS participants and completing functional assessments and reports
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Current National Police Check
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Australian Driver Licence
Previous leadership or senior clinician experience will be highly regarded.
