Position Overview:
As a Console Operator at The Station Grocer, you will be at the forefront of our customer service experience. You will be responsible for operating the console, assisting customers with fuel purchases, processing transactions, and ensuring a smooth operation. This role offers the opportunity to engage with our customers while working in a fast-paced and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the console system efficiently to process fuel transactions accurately.
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
- Handle cash, card, and electronic transactions with precision and attention to detail.
- Monitor fuel pumps and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the fueling area.
- Prepare and serve hot beverages and food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with restocking shelves, inventory management, and general store maintenance tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Reliable and available to work weekdays and /or weekends
