Bakewell Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) to step into a Nurse Lead position within our busy and growing General Practice team.

About the Role
We are a busy clinic with a strong focus on vaccinations, preventative healthcare, and chronic disease management, skin cancer surgery/ management, stock keeping and promoting team work. This role is perfect for an RN who enjoys patient interaction, clinical autonomy, and leadership within a General Practice setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient triage and clinical assessments
- Administering vaccines and immunisations
- Chronic Disease Management (CDM)
- GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements
- Health Assessments and Cycles of Care
- stock keeping and ordering
- ECGs and Spirometry
- Wound care and dressings
- Assisting GPs with procedures
- Managing recalls and preventative health initiatives
- Clinical documentation using Medical Director
- Supporting and coordinating nursing workflows
- General clinical administration duties

About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience
- General Practice experience highly regarded
- Immunisation experience/certificate highly desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
