Your new role
Step into a hands-on role as a Casual Waste Facilities Officer, where you’ll support the delivery of essential waste and recycling services across the region. You’ll be part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly, assisting with bin deliveries and collections, facility operations, and a variety of site-based tasks.
From working with equipment and maintaining sites through to supporting customers at the gatehouse, no two days are the same. If you enjoy practical work, being outdoors and contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable community, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, including hazard awareness, safe manual handling, and following WHS procedures.
- Team-focused with a customer-first attitude and the ability to demonstrate Council values every day.
- Reliable and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Holds a current White Card and can safely operate vehicles, tools, and equipment required for the role.
