Join our team as our People Partnerships & Quality Support at UnitingSA. As part of the People Partnerships & Quality Team, this role provides general administrative support to the wider team, allowing for continuous fulfilment and growth of our employees.
This role specifically serves as a back-up to reception and any administrative tasks relevant to the front desk activity and Learning & Education function.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in providing a range of administrative support to the People Partnerships & Quality Team, specifically, Reception, Payroll, People Experience, WHS and Learning & Education
- Enter employee and student/volunteer data in an accurate and timely manner
- Support the Learning & Education Team and WHS in producing training packs
- Provide back-up support to reception by:
- Providing prompt, courteous attention to telephone callers, visitors and clients
- Providing appropriate responses and information to clients, service providers and members of the public as required
- Providing an interface with, and support to consumers, staff and contractors
- Collaborating and cooperating with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
- Monitor logbook and issue visitor badges
- Assist with and refer enquiries to appropriate personnel as required
- Complete allocated tasks with accuracy, in an efficient, effective, and timely manner
About You
You’re someone who enjoys being part of a team, brings a positive attitude, and thrives in a busy environment. You’re a natural organiser, a great communicator, and someone who genuinely cares about others.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Personable phone etiquette, with understanding for clients concerns and questions
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a positive and co-operative manner
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to draft simple correspondence of a non-specialist nature
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Previous administrative or receptionist experience
- Strong customer service background and experience with internal and external customers
