Our client is seeking a passionate, committed and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our supportive and professional team in Glendenning, NSW 2761.

You will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, wellbeing and school readiness while building strong, respectful and responsive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will:
- Develop, implement and evaluate a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Support children's learning, development, wellbeing and school readiness.
- Build respectful, responsive and meaningful relationships with children and families.
- Work collaboratively with educators, management and other professionals.
- Contribute to observations, documentation, planning, assessment and reflection.
- Create an inclusive, engaging and culturally responsive learning environment.
- Support children's individual interests, strengths, abilities and learning needs.
- Plan experiences that encourage children's curiosity, confidence, independence and development.
- Maintain effective communication with families regarding children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the implementation of the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Maintain professional knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a safe, respectful, inclusive and child-focused environment.
- Contribute positively to the service's professional culture and quality improvement processes.
- planning and structuring learning in both indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials and equipment to facilitate students' development
- providing a variety of experiences and activities to develop motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understanding
- promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes and informal discussions held individually and within groups
- observing students and evaluating progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional disturbance and other disabilities
- observing students requirements for nutritional health, welfare and safety needs and identifying factors which may impede students' progress
- discussing students' progress with your supervisor and with their parents
- attending parent interviews, and staff and committee meetings
- supervising student teachers on placement
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised under the Australian early childhood education and care framework, or an equivalent qualification recognised for the role.
- Meet relevant NSW teacher registration/accreditation requirements, where applicable.
- Hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
- Provide a satisfactory National Police Check / criminal history check, in accordance with service requirements.
- Hold or complete mandatory child safety training/certification required under current early childhood education and care requirements.
- Hold a current Child Protection Certificate, with the certificate/refresher updated annually as required by the service.
- Demonstrate current knowledge of child protection, mandatory reporting and child-safe practices.
- Have a sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate a genuine commitment to children's safety, wellbeing, learning and development.
- Be willing to comply with all service policies, procedures and child protection requirements.
- Be willing to participate in ongoing child protection and child safety professional development.
Child Safety & Protection
Our service is committed to maintaining a child-safe environment and ensuring all educators understand and fulfil their responsibilities for protecting children from harm.
Successful applicants will be required to maintain:
- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- A satisfactory Police Check / criminal history clearance.
- Required mandatory child safety training.
- A current Child Protection Certificate, refreshed or updated annually in accordance with service requirements.
- Ongoing knowledge of mandatory reporting, child protection procedures, professional boundaries and child-safe practices.
Evidence of all required clearances, qualifications and training must be provided to the service and kept current throughout employment.
