About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous RTO Compliance Officer to safeguard our quality framework and ensure alignment with ASQA’s Standards. Reporting to the RTO Manager, this role offers a clear progression pathway into Senior Compliance Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and prepare the organization for ASQA audits.
- Maintain and update RTO policies, procedures, and Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS) for construction/trades packages.
- Coordinate assessment validation, moderation, and manage the Continuous Improvement register.
- Ensure all marketing, pre-enrolment materials, and student handbooks are compliant.
- Assist with regulatory reporting (e.g., AVETMISS) and maintain training.gov.au profiles.
- Provide compliance support and professional development to trainers and staff.
About You
- Proven RTO compliance with strong knowledge of the VET Quality Framework and ASQA standards (trades/construction experience highly regarded).
- Holds a TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator capable of translating complex regulations for trades trainers.
- Strategic, self-motivated, and eager to step into a senior leadership role.
