At Ferguson Plarre’s Bakehouse, we’ve been serving up smiles, delicious pastries, and award-winning coffee for generations. Our Greensborough Plaza store is a bustling hub of happy customers, and we are looking for energetic, passionate individuals to join our tight-knit team!
The Role
We are seeking casual Baristas who are obsessed with great customer service and can craft the perfect cup of coffee. Because our bakehouse loves to serve the community all week long, we need people who have open availability to work across a 7-day roster (including early mornings, weekends, and school holidays).
What You’ll Be Doing:
Greeting with a smile: Providing warm, friendly, and efficient service to our wonderful regulars and new customers.
Crafting great coffee: Rocking the espresso machine to serve up top-tier barista-quality coffee.
Serving delicious treats: Helping customers choose from our famous range of pies, cakes, and pastries.
Keeping it beautiful: Maintaining a sparkling clean front-of-house, display cabinets, and workstation.
Handling transactions: Confidently managing the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash handling.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a barista role is highly regarded (but a great attitude is everything!).
7-Day Flexibility: You are genuinely available to work a mix of shifts across the entire week, including weekends.
Energy & Enthusiasm: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working as part of a team.
Reliability: You are punctual, dependable, and take pride in your work.
