Casual position exists for a School Bus Driver for a regular timetabled school service operated in the Central West area of NSW, specifically in and out of Young NSW.
Qualifications & experience
Minumum Medium Ridge Licence
Current NSW Drivers Authority (or willingness to obtain as soon as possible).
Minimum of 2 years heavy vehicle driving experience
Current Working With Children's Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain at own expense)
Strong communication skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
Driving and operating a school bus safely at all times.
Delivering a regular School Service as per a specified route and timetable
Supervising and managing student behaviour
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the students travelling on the service at all times
General vehicle upkeep including basic cleaning, refuelling and other general duties.
Working independently but also as part of a team.
