In return, you’ll be part of an organisation where your work contributes to strong returns, real-world impact, and a culture that reflects the communities our members serve.
Bring your authentic and passionate self to this exceptional role #careerswithimpact
About the role
As part of the Portfolio Accounting & Private Markets Operations team, you'll support the accuracy of the investment accounting book of record and the reports that depend on it, including daily unit prices, regulatory returns and input to HESTA's financial statements. You'll split your time between unit pricing and investment reporting, working closely with your manager and senior team members who'll guide you through the more complex pieces.
- Review and validate daily portfolio valuations and unit prices provided by the custodian, JP Morgan
- Monitor and true up tax provisions, franking credits and performance fee accruals at the investment option level
- Support valuation oversight, including stale price analysis and year-end valuation reviews
- Help resolve investment accounting queries from internal stakeholders and contribute to process improvement projects
About you
You're likely an early-career fund accountant, ideally with a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance and a couple of years' experience in a fund manager, superannuation or custodian environment. A CA or CPA is a bonus but not essential; what matters more is a sharp eye for numbers, strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in how investment operations works end to end. If you've been looking for a fund accountant or investment operations analyst role that offers real breadth and a clear path to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
