We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist – Remote to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a payroll professional with strong experience managing Australian payroll and a passion for delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll services.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll activities while supporting employees and stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end Australian payroll accurately and on time.

Maintain employee payroll records and data integrity.

Manage payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.

Process new starters, terminations, salary changes, and leave adjustments.

Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and company policies.

Prepare and reconcile payroll reports.

Support payroll audits and process improvement initiatives.

Work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
What will help you succeed in this role? :
- Previous experience 2 to 3 years managing Australian payroll end-to-end.

Strong understanding of payroll legislation, PAYG, superannuation, and compliance requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Experience using payroll and HRIS systems.
