Position Overview
An exciting opportunity awaits to lead one of Adelaide's premier hotels through a landmark transformation.
Currently operating as Peppers Waymouth, the property will undergo an exciting rebrand to Mövenpick Adelaide in December, introducing one of Accor's recognised premium international brands to the Adelaide market.
This is a rare chance to shape the guest experience, inspire a high-performing team, and play a pivotal role in launching a globally celebrated brand, while enjoying the career opportunities that come with being part of the broader Accor network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across all areas of the property, empowering Heads of Department to deliver operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, and strong commercial and financial results.
- Lead and develop your team, ensuring the hotel’s success and profitability
- Drive improvements in performance and implement strategic changes aligned with business objectives
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests, and regional services
- Maintain high product and service standards while optimizing revenue and controlling expenses
- Focus on building a motivated and engaged team committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Represent Accor within the local community, promoting engagement and positive partnerships
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Manager within the hotel or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of delivering strong commercial and operational results.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment where your team feels encouraged and motivated to bring their best selves to work every day
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate relationships, address challenges, and implement solutions that enhance service quality
- Demonstrated capability to drive financial growth through strategic planning and thoughtful decision-makin
- A solid understanding of the key metrics that influence and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to maximize revenue and inspire your team to excel
