We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to lead our team here at GoBoat Melbourne. This position will begin as a 6 month Supervisor role with progressions and training to become the Dock Manager.
Goboat is a self-drive picnic boat hire experience located in the heart of Melbourne along the Yarra river. Goboat offers a unique sustainable experience for customers as they embark on a private journey in their own vessel along the beautiful scenery of Melbourne.
The role:
As a Supervisor in training for Dock Manager, there are a few things you must be able to do:
- Lead our lovely and excellent crew
- Be proactive, self- motivated and tenacious
- Have outstanding customer service skills
- Be resourceful and seek out solutions to problems
- Be eager to work outdoors near the water
- Be flexible and able to rise to a challenge
- Have weekend and weekday availability (rotating roster)
- Have a Coxwains NC (Grade 1,2 or 3) Australian licence (or willing to obtain one)
- Have previous experience in a management position or a strong personality suited to sales, marketing and events.
In the first 6 months of this role you will be trained by our current Dock Manager and taught all necessary skills and requirements to take over the role. You will be alongside our friendly and welcoming crew who will support you during this new opportunity.
