Ventia's Western Power contract continues to grow—and so does our team. We're currently seeking an experienced Planning Administrator to be part of a dynamic workforce delivering essential services across WA.
Working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and operational delivery teams, you'll play a key role in coordinating planned works, tracking project activities and supporting the successful delivery of maintenance and infrastructure projects across the Western Power network.

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate planned works programs and support delivery teams to ensure projects remain on track and within agreed timeframes

Use Ventia and client systems to plan, monitor, report on and manage work programs while ensuring project requirements are met

Monitor project schedules and delivery milestones, identifying potential issues and escalating risks where required

Liaise with supervisors, contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of works

Maintain accurate project records and prepare completed works packages to support timely and accurate claims processing

Support monthly project close-out activities, ensuring all verification, compliance requirements and project documentation are received and completed within required timeframes

Track project progress and ensure project data is accurately maintained across multiple systems and reporting platforms

Coordinate traffic management, locators, civil contractors and other project support services to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
What we're looking for:

We're seeking a proactive and organised Planning Administrator who brings strong project coordination skills, attention to detail and a collaborative approach, along with:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

Previous experience supporting planning, maintenance, utilities, construction or infrastructure projects

Experience creating, managing and allocating work through internal work management systems

Demonstrated experience monitoring project progress, contractor performance and delivery milestones

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across project teams, contractors and customers
-
Experience coordinating traffic management, locators, civil contractors and other project support services

Proven ability to support project close-outs, claims preparation and the maintenance of accurate project documentation

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
-
Experience within utilities, electrical infrastructure, maintenance or contracting environments will be highly regarded
