Beginning in 1925, in the small town of Yenda, NSW, 10 like-minded farmers found they had a common vision of sharing resources to meet their farming needs. The Yenda Producers Co-operative Society is an agricultural retailer and a part of the Yenda Group whose businesses share a common goal to provide quality goods and services to the rural sector in and around the Riverina and North-East Victoria.
We are currently looking for an outgoing and organised Warehouse Officer to join our team working in our retail branch in Leeton.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Load fertilizer and chemical.
- Keep storage sheds tidy and segregate chemical as per Agsafe requirements.
- Assist with the coordination of deliveries and perform the delivery of goods for Yenda, and other branches when required.
- General maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and plant.
- Book in vehicles for inspections and arrange to have any defects cleared.
- Work with the branch Office administration to coordinate the payment of registrations and insurances.
- Record keeping of services and repairs for all heavy vehicles.
- Provides customer service and assistance.
- Aid customer service staff when required, including the use of point of sale software.
- Assists in preparation and co-ordination of annual and periodic stock takes.
- Ensure necessary licences for the role are renewed as required.
- Other duties as required and/or as delegated in line with job role and required tasks.
Essential requirements
:
- Current driver licence.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team.
- A good level of physical fitness (some lifting is required)
- HC Heavy Vehicle Licence
Desirable
:
- Forklift licence – To be obtained on the job if the successful candidate does not hold one.
- Some evidence of customer service experience.
- Agriculture industry knowledge would be beneficial, but not necessary.
- MC Licence

This is a full time position working 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday. An immediate start is available, however we are flexible on a start date for the right candidate.
