About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both student counselling and digital marketing. Along with assisting prospective students, you'll play a key role in building SkillsWave Global's onl ine presence through engaging content across social media platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, confident on camera, and passionate about helping international students.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling
· Provide professional education counselling to prospective international students.
· Assist students with course selection for ELICOS, VET, TAFE, Colleges and Universities.
· Process student applications and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
· Liaise with partner institutions regarding admissions and application progress.
· Keep students informed throughout the application process.
· Attend education expos, networking events and partner training sessions.
Social Media & Marketing
· Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
· Feature in videos when required to explain study pathways, student visas and life in Australia.
· Generate fresh content ideas that increase brand awareness and student enquiries.
· Support the marketing team with promotional materials and campaigns.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is energetic, creative and enjoys connecting with people.
Essential
· Passion for creating social media content, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook videos.
· Comfortable appearing in videos and speaking confidently on camera.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability.
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Passion for helping international students.
Desirable
· Experience managing social media accounts for a business.
· Previous experience in customer service, education consulting, marketing or sales.
· Knowledge of the Australian education system and student visa process.
· Ability to speak a second language is highly regarded.
