Occupational Therapist (NDIS) – Brisbane, QLD
Part-Time Contract
We're recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join an established NDIS provider in Brisbane on a part-time contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about helping participants achieve greater independence, improve daily functioning, and reach their personal goals.
About the Role
Working within the NDIS framework, you will conduct functional assessments, develop personalised intervention plans, and collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete functional capacity and occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy and intervention plans.
- Recommend assistive technology, home modifications, and equipment.
- Prepare high-quality NDIS reports and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with participants, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support participants to improve independence and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within the NDIS (or a strong interest in NDIS practice)
- Knowledge of NDIS legislation, funding, and reporting requirements
- Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
