About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer Operator to join our team at Evolution Displays Pty Ltd in Chipping Norton, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for operating and programming a range of CNC machinery to ensure high-quality and efficient production for our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Operating a variety of CNC machines and other specialty equipment
- Programming CNC machines to produce parts and components to tight tolerances and specifications
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans and documentation to determine the optimal machining processes
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborating with the engineering team to continuously improve manufacturing processes and techniques
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 1-3 years' experience as a CNC Machinist / Programmer Operator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong working knowledge of CNC programming languages and software such as Enroute.
- Expertise in operating a range of CNC machinery
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- If you have a Forklift Licence or willing to get one is a bonus
