We have an exciting leadership opportunity to join the Family Services team as Team Leader Early Learning & Care – Preschools.
About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader – Early Learning and Care to lead a team dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for children and families in our community.
In this rewarding role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a preschool service, ensuring programs meet regulatory requirements, industry best practice and the needs of the children and families we support.
You'll lead, support and coach a team of educators, manage service operations and budgets, and help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. Working closely with families, staff and key stakeholders, you'll play an important role in maintaining quality services and driving continuous improvement across our Early Learning and Care programs.
About You
You are a positive and approachable leader who is passionate about early childhood education and delivering excellent outcomes for children and families. You enjoy leading teams, building strong relationships and creating supportive environments where people can do their best work.
You bring strong organisational skills, sound judgement and a commitment to quality, with the ability to balance operational responsibilities while supporting educators, families and children every day.
To be successful, you'll have:
- A Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or significant experience in children's services would be desirable but not essential
- Experience leading, supervising and developing staff
- A good understanding of early childhood legislation, regulations and quality standards
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing service operations, rosters and administration
- A current Victorian Driver Licence.
