About the Opportunity
As the Administration & Practice Manager, Specialist Clinics, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Central Coast Specialist Centre (CCSC) and a range of Outpatient Clinics at Gosford Hospital. Working as part of the Patient Services Leadership Team, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, efficient and patient-focused administrative services.
Your leadership will contribute to service excellence, continuous improvement, revenue generation and the ongoing development of innovative approaches to outpatient service delivery. In this role you will:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the CCSC and Outpatient Clinics, ensuring financial, workforce, and administrative requirements are effectively managed.

Provide strategic advice and support regarding clinic establishment, service delivery opportunities, revenue generation, billing, and operational viability.

Lead and support administrative teams, including staff supervision, performance management, professional development, education, and training.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with medical, clinical, and administrative stakeholders across CCLHD.

Drive quality improvement, change management and quality assurance initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient experiences.

Implement and monitor billing audit and information management processes to support data quality and maximise revenue generation.

Analyse operational practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall delivery of Specialist Clinic services.

About You
We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader who has:

Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in senior administrative service delivery roles, health administration, or medical practice management.

Proven leadership and management skills, with experience managing staff, resources, and competing operational priorities.

Demonstrated knowledge of hospital-based administrative systems, activity-based funding, revenue generation, and billing processes.

Strong experience in problem solving, quality improvement, and implementing change within a complex healthcare environment.

High-level communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a multidisciplinary organisation.

Proven ability to work autonomously, use initiative, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office, patient information and billing systems, including the Medicare Benefits Schedule, together with strong document, financial, and activity reporting skills.
