Join the Fresh Food team at Fresh Provisions East Fremantle and work alongside an excellent, motivational manager known for high standards and real charisma.
This is a hands-on Second in Charge role for someone who loves merchandising, takes pride in presentation, and is excited by the art of selling the best fresh food products on earth. You will work across dairy, fresh meal options, frozen foods, specialty fresh meats, cheese and eggs.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the daily merchandising and presentation of the dairy chiller food sections to the highest standards
- Helping curate and maintain a premium range across dairy, fresh meals, frozen foods, specialty meats, cheese and eggs
- Supporting ordering, stock rotation, and quality control to keep the departments looking exceptional
- Coaching and working with a young, enthusiastic team who are passionate about customer service and selling
- Delivering outstanding service — assisting customers, offering recommendations, and creating a memorable shopping experience
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards throughout the fresh food areas
- Stepping up to support the Fresh Food Manager and taking ownership when required
What we’re looking for
- Strong merchandising skills and a natural eye for presentation
- Previous experience in fresh food, dairy, deli, meat or supermarket retail (highly regarded)
- Genuine enthusiasm for quality products and the craft of selling
- Ability to work alongside a high-standard, motivational leader and contribute positively to a fast-paced team
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays

Experience:
- fresh food merchandising: 2 years (Preferred)
